Oberstaufen Mountain Rescue Service equipped with OTTINGER chains

The Oberstaufen Mountain Rescue Service is a mountain rescue team of 47 active men and women who devote their time as volunteers to mountain rescue in Bavaria. Since the founding of the emergency service in 1923, their task has been to rescue people from mountain emergencies, in other words to help hikers, skiers and sledgers, and climbers in the event of emergencies in rough terrain. Their operational area extends around Oberstaufen. In winter, the team takes care of several mountain railways and ski lifts in three ski areas around Oberstaufen.

OTTINGER has equipped the vehicles for the Oberstaufen mountain rescue team with snow chains to also make its contribution to the safety of the Mountain Rescue Service in Oberstaufen.
